Weekend Getaway to Koh Samui, Thailand

My mom was nice enough to come visit me. I was feeling quite homesick around the 4th or 5th week being here. She came right after I finished my midterms. I was lucky to have her come and take me on a weekend getaway to Thailand. The island we visited was Koh Samui. It is a very small but it is Thailand's second largest island, which is located on the east coast. The population is very small too with only 63,000.

The people were beyond sweet and very welcoming each place we went to. The people at the hotel we stayed at treated everyone with respect and called people Queen/King before our name.
